I HAD 8 STUDENTS THAT DID NOT HAVE THEIR FIRST EUCHARIST RELIGION BOOK TODAY.  IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO TEACH A LESSON WHNE THAT MANY STUDENTS DON'T HAVETHEIR BOOK.  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD'S BOOK IS HERE TOMORROW SO WE CAN COMPLETE THE LESSON.
Homework tonight is a spelling paper.

The children are bringing home their new spelling words for the week.  We will probably be working on them for 2 weeks because of the shorten weeks.  Most of them are also bringing home a Scholastic newspaper and page to finish tonight. 

We will be having a religion test over Chapter 12 tomorrow.  We will also having a spelling test and their reading log is due.

Homework tonight is a math paper and their reading logs.

Benchmark results are coming home tonight.  Please ask you child for them.  They have a spelling paper for homework and are bringing home their Eucharist book for the home lessons.  Please have the book back to school next Tuesday for our next school lesson.

I was hoping to send home benchmark results tomorrow, but I still have 5 students who are not done so hopefully they can get done and results will come home Monday at the latest.
Homework tonight is to study for the spelling test and their reading log is due tomorrow and their Wellness paper is due tomorrow.  Don't forget to do the Aleks if you get a chance.  This really helps them memorize their facts.

The children have a math paper for homework tonight.  They must use pictures, (Just drawing sticks works) , numbers and words to solve the problem.  This is an activity that will help them next year  when they are taking ISTEP.  They also have a paper from the Ambassadors to do on Wellness.  The Wellness paper is to be done with a parent.  It is due on Friday.

Hopefully we will finish Benchmarks in a day or two.  The children are doing a good job.  I will let you know when results will be coming home. 
The children are bringing home their First Eucharist book tonight, please do the home session with them and have the book back to school by next Tuesday, January 24.  They also have a spelling paper on compound words for homework, along with their spelling log.  Please don't forget about going on the computer to do their Aleks Math.

TOMORROW WILL BE OUR FIRST LESSON IN THE EUCHARIST BOOK.  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD'S YELLOW FIRST EUCHARIST BOOK IS HERE AT SCHOOL EVERY TUESDAY FOR THEIR SCHOOL LESSON.  THE BOOK WILL COME HOME ON TUESDAY NIGHT AND YOU WILL HAVE A WEEK TO DO THE HOME SESSION WITH YOUR CHILD AND GET THE BOOK BACK TO SCHOOL FOR THE NEXT TUESDAY'S LESSON.

Report Cards are coming home tonight.  Please look at them and discuss them with your child.  They are to be signed and returned to school.
Remember that the children will be receiving their First Communion books this Sunday at 4:30.  We are to meet in the church.  We will be done by 5:30.

As always the children have their weekly reading log.  Some of the children are bringing home the 7 works of mercy.  We will be having a religion test on Friday and they will need to know them for the test.

Sunday January 15th the children will be receiving their books to begin preparing for First Communion. They are bringing home a paper tonight with all the details.  We will meet in the church at 4:30PM.
Homework tonight is to copy their spelling words and a phonics paper on r controlled vowels.  The children are also bringing home a reading log that is due on Friday.
