Remember conferences tomorrow so we only have a half day of school.  The children have been doing a great job on our Holy Thursday presentation.  We will be giving it on Holy Thursday which of course is after Spring Break.
Homework tonight is to study spelling.  (we will have a test on Thursday morning) and to do some reading for the reading log.

There are still 8 people who have not returned their spring pictures or the picture money. Please get that in as soon as possible.  Homework tonight is a page in their poetry book.  We have been working on string poems.  They should also do some reading tonight for the reading log which is due on Thursday.

We will be having a spelling test tomorrow and the weekly reading log is due.  The children can wear jeans and a green shirt for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow.  There is a $3.00 charge to go towards the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C.

Homework tonight is a reading comprehension story .  The story can also count on their reading log.  They have a paper to do on Cooperation that is due next Wednesday.

Tonight's homework is a spelling paper on contractions.  Some of the children are bringing home a Social Studies project that they are finishing up.  As always READ, READ, READ!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the children have a math paper on fractions to finish.  New spelling words are coming home and of course they should be reading 10 minutes every night on their reading log.

Remember that we will have our First Communion retreat this Sunday, March 11 from 1-3PM.  We are to meet in the cafe.  One parent and the student should be there.

Tomorrow (Thursday the 8th)  we will be having a Religion test over Chapter 13.  The children will be allowed to use their books and papers from this chapter.
The should also be working on their weekly reading log.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be doing our last lesson the The First Eucharist book.  Please be sure your child's book is here at school for tomorrow's lesson.  Also remember that we will be having the retreat this Sunday, March 11 from 1-3 PM in the Cafe.
Tonight's homework is to copy this week's new spelling words and to work on the weekly reading log.

THE CHILDREN ARE BRINGING HOME THEIR SPRING PICTURES TONIGHT.  Please look them over and decided if you want to purchase any or not.  You may purchase just one sheet or all 5 sheets.  If you do not want any of the pictures just send them back to school.  If you are going to purchase only one or two sheets then send in the money for those along with the sheets you  do not want to purchase.  We will be collecting money for these until March 22.

Tonight's homework is to study for the spelling test over Unit 20 words and to get the reading log done because it is due tomorrow.  Some of the children have a Scholastic News paper to finish.
